If you haven't had the chance to go to Cuba this year here is your chance to get transported to the bygone era of glitz and glamour of that country .   Dress sharp better in formal attire and book your table at El Tucán for 8.00 sharp then in the corner of SW First Avenue and SW 11th Street in Brickell, close your eyes, take a deep breath  and enjoy the ride.  as this place I promise, is truly  Miami's hidden gem.

Enter the green velvet curtain masking a grand entrance. A large brass Tucán  will welcome you supreme  bedecked around crystal chandeliers, gold-framed mirrors and crushed velvet accents.  The intimate, theater-style venue under a dim  light evokes a sense of drama   the suggestive Trompe-l'oeil murals around the room.

In stylish Cabaret fashion sit near the stage and dine the prix-fixed Latin inspired menu . Taste delicious tapas-style Molcajete de Guacamole, Tuna flat bread, truffle aioli, Yellowtail Crispy mini taquitos and Goat cheese croquet from the wide degustation menu. For dessert , New Zealand-born, French-trained chef, Jean Paul Lourdes will surprise you with a stunning tres leches cake and a vivid arrangement of fruits and sorbets.

Tip tap dancing feathers and burlesque acting  inebriate the now darkened room in Jazzy Havana beats as the 11-piece Latin band, led by the Grammy winner Marlow Rosado will soon drag you into the hottest mambos over Rosaditos and Best de Miel.
