Lavish Gatsby Style

I LOVE

-Any modern revival of legends, like the Great Gatsby novel by Scott Fitzgerald.

Many criticized The Great Gatsby  2013 3D romantic drama film. In  my opinion, the lavish  romance could not be in a better place than in another dimention of reality.

An adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel of the same name, the film was co-written and directed by Baz Luhrmann, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Elizabeth Debicki, and Isla Fisher. It follows the life and times of millionaire Jay Gatsby and his neighbor Nick, who recounts his encounter with Gatsby at the height of the Roaring Twenties. The film was released on May 10, 2013.

The general consensus was: “While certainly ambitious — and every bit as visually dazzling as one might expect — Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby emphasizes visual splendor at the expense of its source material’s vibrant heart.”  In the picture, Carey Mulligan in a Vogue  US editorial May 2013
