Swiss artist, designer, and architect Heinz Julen has created his own fantastical, luxe world at this mountain chalet hotel, which he built and designed. All of the furnishings come from his studio in Zermatt, the town where he was born and raised. Many of the fanciful pieces can be purchased through his online design store, including the cowhide Double Pirmin Chair, the Max Office Furniture Set, a mirror with candle holders and lights, and the Daniela Chandelier, which features stainless steel, hanging beads, ice cream glasses, silver cups, six lights, three candle holders, and chains—yet still manages to look sophisticated.

The only glass studio in the Maldives resides at this barefoot luxury private island resort. In a sustainable move, the studio collects bottle glass from wine and other beverages imported by the resort, along with bottles from neighboring islands and refuse that washes up on the island’s shores. The collected materials are then ground down at the studio and recycled into beautiful one-of-a-kind glassware, bowls, and vases by resident glassmakers and a visiting roster of world-renowned glass artists. The pieces are used in all of the resort’s restaurants and bars, and are available in the resort’s online shop as well.

Many credit Blackberry Farm with popularizing the farmhouse chic aesthetic in the US, and while their look has been copied a million times over, you can still get the original straight from the source. Luxury safari brand Singita’s camps have won countless interior design awards, so fans were thrilled when, last December, the company launched an online boutique selling items that embody its chic safari style. Since launching in the 1990s, Soho House has expanded from its original London membership club/hotel to properties across the globe, bringing its posh style with it. Known for being a haven for artists, designers, and other creatives, the brand’s eclectic-but-refined design reflects those roots, while also thoughtfully representing each location. So when the company decided to launch its online shop, Soho Home (first in the UK in 2016, and then in the US in 2017), it was an instant hit. In 2017, interior designer Annie Selke bought and renovated this 1836 Federal-style home in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains and transformed it into an enchanting eight-room inn. Selke’s eye is pure gold, and rooms feature the linens, textiles, and furniture she has placed together to create a multitude of patterns, each capturing the New England aesthetic with her own twist. You can buy her gorgeous items online—and best of all, each uniquely designed room is shoppable with the click of a mouse. This hand-knotted rug is found in the cheery parlor, this buffet covered in faux Belgian linen is in the Highlawn room, and the Cliffwood room features a tufted loveseat. Even the wall art is for sale, like this piece depicting tree branches that hangs in the Glendale room.

While the Ritz-Carlton brand has luxury properties worldwide, each one has a different aesthetic, inspired by its location. Always refined, the brand’s online shop has several chic décor items for sale, (aside from plush bedding, robes and towels). Our favorite items come from specific properties, like the gorgeous Murano glass shell bowls that can be found in the rooms at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, and a swirled agate lamp, which is inspired by the landscape at the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Arizona.

From the Lore Group, which also own the new Riggs Washington D.C. and Sea Containers London, this Amsterdam hotel consists of 25 connected classic Dutch canal houses, each filled with modern Dutch design with a distinct combination of the old and new. The hotel has a small online shop and the thing to get is the bed, which was specially designed for the property by Douxe. Inspired by the shape of the canal houses, the bed has an oak wood headboard with integrated side tables, a stylish divan base, and a pocketed spring mattress by Tréca de Paris.

This gorgeous Italian resort evokes a traditional Puglian village, with the luxury factor amped way up; the design is plush but refined, with thoughtful local accents. The hotel’s well-stocked online shop, Bottega Egnazia, has various food and spa items for sale, but we especially love the handmade Italian ceramics, which range from complete place settings in various patterns (like these red and white dishes) to ceramic vases and accents. To bring a touch of color to your kitchen, put these adorable tomato clusters (called “ramasole”) in your cart; they echo the Puglian tradition of hanging tomatoes to dry and preserve for winter.

A stay at the Astro Motel in Sonoma is like stepping into a time machine back to the 1960s. The motel was originally built in 1963, and in 2017, it was completely renovated by the owners of a local restaurant who populated it with meticulously sourced original mid-century furnishings. In February of this year, the hotel launched an online store featuring authentic mid-century modern furniture and art by designers like George Nakashima, Florence Knoll, Mario Sabe, and Charles and Ray Eames that were acquired from auctions around the country. You never know what you might find—and most pieces are one-offs—but you could score rare items like 1968 Mario Sabo lounge chairs or an original Lightolier Sputnik chandelier.

Spectacular views of the city of Florence and its stunning Duomo compete with the posh design at this recently redone favorite. Melding Florentine tradition with modern sensibilities, the rooms and common areas are filled with bold yet tasteful patterns in deluxe materials; one notable example are the Emilio Pucci-designed silk twill cushions found on the sofas and chairs in the lobby, which depict the Hotel Savoy, the Duomo, and the Piazza Della Repubblica (with its iconic carousel.) The covers come in two colors—bright fuchsia and turquoise—and are made exclusively for the hotel by master craftsmen in Italy’s Lake Como area. Located in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, this concept hotel uses recycled and sustainable materials to create minimalist rooms and common areas that are cozy and stylish at the same time. The online Trunk (Store) sells trendy, fashionable items that are also found throughout the hotel, like this Dvelas Genoirs-designed beanbag chair and a romantic candleholder with pressed flowers. For customers in the US, there’s a flat shipping rate of $30.
