Viennese fashion designer Susanne Bisovsky‘s collection is a tribute of her country’s traditional costume, tracht, and the great Frida Kahlo. Her photographic series is currently on exhibit at the Kunsthalle Wien museum in Vienna until January 2013. The styling, the craftsmanship, and the art direction are exquisite.
I have also selected a few other fashion designers creations for fall 2012/13 with the same inspiration as well as a few old editorials, I have devotedly collected on Pinterest that clearly illustrate that the timeless trend is here to stay.
Needlepoint, flowers,embroidery, tapestry, hand-made ,bright colors,lace are my personal thing too.
