Valentino Garavani like me is a home lover .

He likes to collect them and  each between  London, Rome, New York City, and Gstaad,  is more spectacular than the next. This month he opens the doors of his spectacular last creation, the French castle to Architectural Digest.

Built by Louis XIII’s finance minster in the 17th century and once home to one of Louis XIV’s mistresses, Château de Wideville sits just outside Paris and includes an eight-bedroom main house and a restored, fully furnished, three-story dovecote and commissioned eminent interior decorator Henri Samuel, and completed  the following year two months before the interior designer died,  to make it comfortable yet regal after buying the property in 1995.

Valentino admits on an interview to Architectural Digest that he likes to put his nose in everything  ”  Even if I admire the decorator, I have to say my opinion.” Have a look and enjoy!
