Summer Packing

It’s the beginning of July , the trip in China is very far away now and it boiling hot in Manhattan.

Last night I watched a great new movie called Savages and the layer back lifestyle in a Californian home on the beach gave me a sense of deep nostalgia… t’s time to pack, and to pack for Summer.

Every short, t-shirt , bikini and sandal is a vivid reminder of unforgettable times by the water, yes, because Summer for me has to be near the water and trees. The pristine Turtle Bay beach in the Seichelles Islands, the wind song caressing old and palm trees at Los Cabos Mexico late afternoons, the surfers waiting for the good wave early morning at Maresias beach in Sao Sebastiao Brasil, diving in the sumptuous pool at the capri Palace on the foothills of the Italian glamorous island, are memories jealously kept in my heart but also on the sunglasses, hats and totes I wore when visiting those places.

Goes without saying that a few new latest seasonal items need to be added to my packing list , like bright neon escaping and flats, popular arm parties glittering bracelets and the later eyewear.

My favorite companios?

Cannon Markseries II camera and Cannon G9 cameras, photo lenses, I-pad-pod-phone, a luminous orange lipstick from Mac, Aqua di Parma classic cologne and , most valuable of all, my old tiny hand scribed prayer book.
